The other cars are rented by the day: the selection includes 96 cars, daily rentals start from 12,990 ₸/day, from the Changan Alsvin 2023 to the Volkswagen Arteon 2021.

Hourly car rental in Almaty: what we rent by the hour

Honestly about the format: at Rent-Trip, two cars are rented by the hour — the Tesla Cybertruck and the Hummer H2 limousine with a driver. Everything else is rented by the day, and below we explain how to choose between hours and days for a specific task.

Tesla Cybertruck — hourly rental for self-driving

The Tesla Cybertruck 2024 is an electric pickup in the "Unique" class, and it has no daily rate at all: the car is taken for a shoot, a photo session, a striking welcome for guests or an appearance at an event where exactly a few hours matter. The rate grid is fixed, and we have no other options:

Mileage for hourly rental is calculated based on time: up to 50 km for each hour of rental. The deposit is the same as for all unique models, 200,000 ₸. The Cybertruck and limousine cards are listed first in the selection on this page.

Hummer H2 limousine — by the hour and only with a driver

The Hummer H2 Limousine 2009 is a stretch limousine for 20 passengers for a wedding, birthday or meeting guests. Our driver gets behind the wheel, and their work is included in the price, so no licence or driving experience is needed to book. The rate is 20,000 ₸ per hour, minimum order is 4 hours:

An airport transfer is calculated separately from the hourly rate — the manager will give you the price when booking.

The rest of the fleet — by the day, from one day

Sedans, hatchbacks and business-class cars from this selection are not rented by the hour. The minimum rental period is one day, and the price is stated specifically per day. If you need the car for 3–5 hours — to meet a flight, visit several addresses, go up to Medeu — it is still booked for a day, but for the rest of the period it stays with you and does not need to be returned by a specific hour. We do not have made-up "hourly" rates for regular cars, and on WhatsApp you will be quoted the same daily price as on the card.

When to take hours and when to take days

• A shoot, a music video, a striking appearance for a couple of hours: Tesla Cybertruck by the hour.
• Wedding, graduation, meeting guests: Hummer H2 limousine with a driver, from 4 hours.
• Airport pickups, business meetings, city trips: a standard car per day.
• Half-day trips to the mountains — Medeu, Shymbulak, BAO: a full day: the road and weather often take more time than planned.
• Charyn, Kolsai, trips to Kyrgyzstan: a day or more — these are full-day routes.

How much short-term rental costs and what is included in the price

The price of a standard car is the daily rate. Let's break down what it includes and how much the deposit is.

What's included in the daily rate

• Mileage up to 200 km per day: enough for the city and a trip to Medeu and back; over the limit — an extra charge per kilometer, the amount is specified in the contract.
• Insurance and contract: CASCO and OSAGO are included in the price, we arrange the contract online or when handing over the keys.
• City delivery: we bring the car to an agreed location in Almaty — airport, hotel, office — within 30–60 minutes.
• 24/7 Support: available around the clock, including weekends.

Fuel, washing in case of heavy soiling, and kilometers over the limit are paid separately.

Economy starts with the Changan Alsvin 2023 from 12,990 ₸/day and the Kia Rio 2016 from 13,000 ₸. In comfort — Geely Emgrand 2023 from 15,990 ₸, Nissan Sentra 2021 from 19,990 ₸, Toyota Camry 75 2022 from 50,000 ₸. Business class starts with the Lexus ES 2016 from 35,000 ₸, the Lexus ES 2022 costs from 50,990 ₸, the Volkswagen Arteon 2021 — from 89,990 ₸. For a week or more the rate is lower — we quote the exact amount on WhatsApp, because it depends on the specific car and dates.

The selection includes 96 cars: 94 city automatic economy, comfort and business class cars are rented by the day, while the Tesla Cybertruck 2024 and the Hummer H2 Limousine 2009 with a driver are rented by the hour.

Economy: the most affordable options

• Changan Alsvin 2023: sedan, from 12,990 ₸/day — the lowest rate in the selection.
• Kia Rio 2016: sedan, from 13,000 ₸/day.
• Hyundai i20 2021: hatchback, from 13,990 ₸/day — convenient for parking in the center.
• Kia Picanto 2020: hatchback, from 13,990 ₸/day — the most maneuverable option.
• Mitsubishi Mirage 2019: hatchback, from 13,990 ₸/day.

Comfort and business: for meetings and trips with guests

The year in the name is not a formality: the Lexus ES 2016 and Lexus ES 2022 are different cars with different prices, so when booking, specify the model with the year.

How to choose a car for a short task: airport, mountains, city

Even if the task takes a few hours, it's worth choosing a car to match the route and the number of passengers.

Airport and business meetings

For meeting a flight and traveling to business addresses, a comfort sedan will do — a Nissan Sentra 2021 from 19,990 ₸ or a Geely Preface 2023 from 27,990 ₸: the trunk fits two or three suitcases. If you're meeting a partner, take a Lexus ES 2022 from 50,990 ₸ or a Volkswagen Arteon 2021 from 89,990 ₸. The «Sergek» cameras on the avenues record speed and lane markings — in an unfamiliar car, stick with the flow for the first few kilometers.

Mountains for half a day: Medeu, Shymbulak, BAO

The road winds uphill with a gain in altitude, and in winter there may be ice. A Toyota Prius 2018 from 24,990 ₸ handles it in summer, but for a winter climb it's better to choose a car with good tires — check them on WhatsApp before booking. At Medeu the temperature is noticeably lower than in the city, and snow there can linger even in May.

If you need a car with a driver for a group of up to 20 people, take the Hummer H2 limousine — 20,000 ₸ per hour, minimum order of 4 hours. Book in advance and write the plan right away — location, time and number of passengers.

How to book and get the car: delivery, documents, deposit

Booking and handover take little time if the documents are prepared in advance.

Booking on WhatsApp

• Choosing a car: look at the selection on the website or ask on WhatsApp what's available for the dates you need.
• Request: you write the model with the year, the date, time and pickup address; for the Cybertruck and limousine — how many hours you need.
• Confirmation: we confirm availability and quote the final price.
• Delivery: we bring the car to the agreed point in Almaty, you inspect it and sign the contract.

Documents and handover

You need an ID, a category B driving licence, to be at least 21 years old and have at least two years of driving experience; for the limousine no licence is needed — our driver drives the car. On handover, we inspect the body and interior together and record the fuel level and odometer readings in the report. Scratches and chips that you notice immediately are entered in the report and do not become your problem on return.

Deposit and its return

The deposit depends on the class: 50,000 ₸ for economy and comfort, 100,000 ₸ for business class, 200,000 ₸ for the Tesla Cybertruck (the «Unique» class). We return it within 1–3 business days after the car is returned without damage or fines.

Condition of the cars, contract, insurance and 24/7 support

A calm rental rests on a car in good working order and a clear contract.

Inspection before handover

• Engine and fluids: oil, coolant, brake fluid levels.
• Brakes and tires: pads, tread, seasonal pressure, spare tire.
• Lights and electrics: headlights, turn signals, battery, air conditioning.
• Interior and body: cleanliness, power windows, locks.

Contract and insurance

• Mileage limit: up to 200 km per day for regular cars, up to 50 km per hour of rental for the Cybertruck.

Stop, turn on your hazard lights, photograph the damage and the position of the cars, and message us on WhatsApp — support works around the clock and will tell you what to do. Do not start repairs on your own: any work must be agreed with us.
