The road to Medeu and Shymbulak is asphalt with long climbs and blind turns, and the Huracan feels confident on it thanks to all-wheel drive and active suspension. On the climb to Shymbulak the gradient reaches 12–15%, the engine holds revs without overheating, and the brakes don't overheat on the descent if you use lower gears instead of constant braking. But there is a risk on the serpentine: a narrow road, oncoming traffic on blind turns, and limited visibility from a low coupe. Because of the low ground clearance, it's better not to plan a turn onto the dirt road near BAO or to the waterfall — the front bumper and splitter catch on stones.
In winter and rain: how the Huracan behaves
In winter the Huracan rarely goes out in Almaty — Pirelli P Zero summer tires lose grip already at +5 °C, and on snow the car becomes dangerous.
